Terms

The deal, in plain words.

Last updated 27 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and [operator name — to be completed before public launch] ("we"), the operator of My Sign. By tapping That all works for me on the consent screen you accept them, along with the privacy page.

What My Sign is

A daily companion that reads the sky against your birth chart and remembers what you tell it. It is for reflection, not prediction. It will tell you what a transit means and what you have said before; it will not tell you what is going to happen.

The replies are written by AI. Conversations, readings and the app's memory of your days are generated by Claude, a model made by Anthropic, a third party. To do that, the app sends your messages and related context to Anthropic. The privacy page lists exactly what is sent. The planetary positions are calculated, not generated. The words around them are generated, and AI can be wrong, can misremember, and can sound more certain than it should. Treat what it says as a perspective, not a fact.

What it is not

Not medical, legal, or financial advice. The app is built to refuse those questions, and you should not act on anything it says in those areas.

Not a crisis service. If you say something that suggests you may be in danger, the app stops the astrology and gives you a real crisis line. It also alerts a member of our team, who may read the conversation. That person cannot come and help you, and we do not contact emergency services for you. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Not a substitute for a person. For the big, irreversible decisions — ending a relationship, leaving a job — the app is designed to reflect and to withhold a verdict. That is deliberate.

Who can use it

Your data

How we handle it is set out in full on the privacy page. The short version:

What you write stays yours. You give us permission to store it, process it, and send it to the providers named on the privacy page, only so that we can run the app for you.

Other people

When you add someone to compare charts, you are giving us their personal details. Only do that if you have a fair reason to and you believe they would not object. Do not add more about them than the comparison needs. You can remove anyone you added at any time.

Using it well

Subscriptions and refunds

This section applies once paid plans launch. During private testing there is nothing to pay.

Availability

We aim to keep the app up, and we tell you when it is not. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and during private testing you should expect rough edges. Some features need Anthropic's service to be reachable. When it is not, the app falls back to simpler, non-AI answers or asks you to try again.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, My Sign is provided as-is. We are not liable for decisions you make based on what the app says — see What it is not, above. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.

If you got My Sign from the App Store

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support for it, and is not responsible for any claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Where these terms say nothing, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, and that deletes your data as the privacy page describes. We can close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why.

Credit where due

Changes and law

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app first.
